New Meaning to the term "Falling Asleep"
Well now I've seen everything! I played with the grand baby for about an hour -- we put little squares into little square holes, lined up her stuffed toys, handed her giraffe back and forth to each other, and played with the remote. I fed her some yummy bananas and custard and part of a bottle, refilled her sippy cup a few times as she loves water, watched while she held onto the dogs ears and gave him hugs and kisses and patted his head into concussion. (I was careful -- didn't let her hurt him -- but he has the patience of Job.) And then she started to fuss. There was no consoling her. I tried. So I put her into her Pack N Play (a small crib, for those of you non-baby peeps), and looked at the clock. It was 12:00 Noon. I made myself busy while she sat up straight and cried, rubbing her eyes. At 12:06 I did a double-take. She was sitting there with her eyes closed, and then she just fell over sideways! I went over to see if she was okay and she was -- and sound asleep! I covered her and did a couple of loads of laundry for my daughter and then read the book I had brought just in case. I have really never seen anything like it!

Strange! She went from happy to fussy to falling over asleep like a statue that got knocked over? Wow!
That little shot of NyQuil worked perfectly! ;-)
How tired was Grandma?
Poor little punkin! That sounds pretty funny though. She musta been exhausted.
Do you always have that effect on people ?
I am just a little brat this week...
I am so glad she was in the crib and not the high chair into the plate of spaghetti. Little ones are so much fun. keep a camera around.
Have an awesome day.
Carol
She must have been totally worn out. It's good that she can go to sleep so fast and sleep soundly. Did you get a nap too?
Days like you describe are right smack in front of me, the baby is due in about five weeks. And I can't even begin to imagine it...but I sure can't wait.
I'm certain that you are the best grandma ever.
Hugs, and happy weekend. :)
It's such a blessing that you have her in your life and can spend that kind of time with her. What a treasure Kathy
How sweet! All the fun must have worn her right out. :-)
How fun to be a grand parent and you seem to doing a great job, Kathy.
Best from Beantown!!!!
