Handling Life's Downturns

Everybody gets the blues. What defines us is how we handle those times. Sometimes we exercise or do something to divert our funk. Other times, it's good just to put a box on our heads and turn our backs to our visitors. :)

PS I took this photo at the San Diego Wild Animal Park last January. This particular gorilla had been given the box by a feeder.

Sorry you're down. Think of how great it's going to be when both hands are 100%.

I looked at this picture for a long time, but couldn't find the gorilla. All I saw was a birdhouse with a primitive roof. The dark thing in the background didn't look like a gorilla. I was just about to forget figuring it out when I thought, is that a butt crack? Is that the back of a gorilla with an opened-up box on it's head? WooHoo. What a crazy picture!

So, did you exercise or do the gorilla? Box on head :), not the other :)

And Johnny Cash said to "Get Rhythm" when you get the blues. So, crank up the music and dance! LOL ;-)

I felt like that gorilla today.

I don't feel well. Unusual for me. The blues come and go. I usually go to the beach to combat them.

Feel better.

Hope you feel better soon, Kathy!

I hope you are feeling on the sunny side of things really soon. It is hard to be "up" when our bodies let us down. Prayers for quick healing of body and spirit.
