Celebrate Good Times, C'mon!!♫♫

So now it's come to this...I'm celebrating being able to sit and get up from a chair without issuing blood-curdling screams.  And how the neighbors appreciate it!!  The surgery was done laparoscopically, but the surgeon encountered great resistance from the scar tissue so I'm really bruised and very sore, but am recuperating nicely.  So rather than share my bruised, road map of a stomach (yes, they actually draw on it before they cut), I thought I'd share a few of the Naples, Florida photos tonight and more later in the week.

The new header photo is the beach at sunset the first night we were in Naples.  I love how the ambient light makes this so peaceful looking.

We saw some really beautiful, cloud-filled skies.

What he was looking at!

I really like your header -- the light is wonderful. The picture of the golden clouds is fantastic as well. But all of these beach pictures make me wish I was there. I look forward to seeing more.

When you changed the Header, I knew it was of Naples, Fl. You had just returned home, which is what made me surmise that change.

So glad the surgery is done, and you are on the mend. I know - easier said than done. You'll improve everyday, I just know it.

I am so sorry you had to go through that! I have been so behind on the computer I didn't know. (I have been housesitting across town without internet and running home and pressing "post" on the blog! I am very behind with everyone.) Anyway ... I hope you feel better!

Rest. Take it easy. Love yourself.
Sending healing thoughts and hugs from the West.

You made the right choice of pictures. Glad to hear that you are healing up well and will soon be back to running marathons and whatever else retired English teachers do. P.S. - I hope to have a letter off to you by the end of the week. B.
