♪♫Our Hearts Are Warm, Our Bellies Are Full...♫*

*  With apologies to Rogers and Hammerstein and Carousel.

We had a wonderful time.  In spite of pouring rain (we had two days of warmish temps -- and now we're back to a high of 29° or all that rain would have been snow!), everyone who was expected came.  We even had to turn on the AC for a short time because it had gotten so warm inside.  My husband and I feel quite blessed to have such wonderful friends and neighbors and have decided (God willing and the creek don't rise) to make this an annual thing.  Tonight we'll have leftovers.  Shrimp mousse, anyone?

Janette:   To answer your very interesting question posed on "Praying For Our Enemies":  I think you're right.  I can see the change in the generations.  My children, although we attended church when they were little, do not know the rituals, the feast days, the particular prayers.  However, they all seem to be rather spiritual.  I think leaving it up to them to have their individual epiphanies always carries some risk, but the result ultimately makes for stronger beliefs.

Glad your party was GREAT, Kathy... We have 6-8 inches of snow here today --and it's BITTERLY cold. Glad we don't have a party here today/tonight... ha

Have a great day.

Shrimp mousse? My, you are quite the chef - My guests would have been treated to microwaved fish sticks! Glad your soiree was so successful!

che bell'albero! Io vivo sulla costa, e spesso la neve non attacca, ma stavolta è una vera bufera. Qua sono completamente disorganizzati, credo che se nevichera' domani sera dovro' tornare a casa a piedi. Nuovamente...
