The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions

Such strong reactions to thoughts of squid and calamari!!  Most think it's like rubber, and I guess it is if not cooked correctly.  But the answer to my query about the difference between squid and calamari was actually the punch line: Five dollars a pound!  I guess it loses something in the printed form... :)

Well, I donned my exercise duds, but never made it  past the family room.  We had only a dusting of snow, but the winds are such that even at 2:00 PM the temps are only in the mid teens.  I could still go.  Mostly, I feel like doing this --

PS    Betsy and Maggie will have missed this, but I did wind up going to the gym -- had intended to get there by 11, and made it by 4:30!   A workout is a workout, I guess.  The Lacuna here I come.

Oh Kathy, What a precious sleeping angel....

YES---we all have good intentions, don't we????

Hope you all had a great Christmas... You didn't get that blizzard???? I thought you would have.... We got about 5 inches --in 2 1/2 days --and it was never horrible --although nobody could get up and down our big hill...

Can't wait to see pictures when you use the new Canon Rebel.. Congrats...
Hugs
Betsy

Kathy,
I adore the photo...how sweet! Yeah, well 10 in. of snow kept me from exercising...or was it the warm fire inside? or perhaps it was I couldn't find my workout shoes, or maybe my PJ's were stuck to my big behind?
Whatever the reason, oh well, better luck next time!

What an adorable little girl she is! We got 4 inches of snow, but over half has melted already. It was pretty while it fell.

I have promised myself to get back on the treadmill after the 1st.

We didn't get any snow at all. Well, a tiny amount on Christmas morning. But, that's it. I could go for a nap right now too.

I'm very impressed that you made it to the gym at all as cold as it felt today. I think I would have joined your granddaughter and taken a nap!

I actually did get the joke...but don't like it no matter what it's called or how much you pay for it! I've tried, but can't seem to think it's as yummy as my friend who eats it on pizza!!!

She is a real CUTIE, Kathy. love that photo. Now about that calamari, I tend to only like it at certain places (who know how to prepare it properly) Otherwise I take one bit and think "rubber bands"

What an adorable picture. It deserves a frame!

I've liked calamari fried, but could live my whole life without eating it again. Now chocolate is another matter...
