Our September cruise to Canada aboard Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas was wonderful; the service excellent -- attentive but not obsequious; the food expertly prepared and served. All in all a great trip except for that little thing with the hurricane force winds on the way back.
No wonder some of the staff were so happy! Check this out. I feel badly for Royal Caribbean. In this kind of economy who needs PR like this?

This gives new meaning to the phrase 'high seas'!
WOW! When you least expect something, not even remotely thinking about it - bam! It hits you over the head like a brick. Who knew? I can't stop saying "WOW".
Oh my.
Oh My ---I hadn't heard about this... Our cruise in 2001 was with Royal Caribbean and we loved it. It was to the South Caribbean... Our upcoming cruise to Alaska is with Princess.
As you said, Royal Caribbean doesn't need PR like that --especially in this economy.
Hugs,
Betsy
Wow! Amazing that they thought they could get away with it.
Oh My Goodness...
Well, I suppose it's predictable that some of the crew members would take advantage of their ability to travel freely to engage in smuggling. I wonder how many of the passengers do the same thing...?
Oh, my....you must have had an amazingly happy cruise.
So that's why they call it the high seas!
I bet drugs are smuggled this way often. Yes, bad, bad publicity.
Aren't you glad you made it back home safe and sound, considering how high your ship's crew may have been?
I guess this will open up some fun jobs for people who need them. WOW - as if working a cruise ship wasn't fun enough!
