I'll Read Them All, Promise...

I'm posting without catching up on all your great blogs.  Have read a few, but working on this small computer is just too difficult as it frequently throws fits.  I'll catch up on reading after we get back.

Tonight is our last night in San Diego.  I'll be very sorry to leave and have expressed, much to husband's chagrin, many, many times how much I'd love to live here.  I know that won't be happeneing...unless we win that lottery.  Like I said, I know that won't be happening.

After a great b-fast with Margie and Dave at the Naked Cafe (where we were all clothed), we're off today to take photos of the La Jolla shore.  We'll meet with them for our last dinner.

We've crammed so much into this week.  Yesterday we visited the Air and Space Museum  (where we saw replicas of the planes my dad flew during the China Burma Campaign (he was a navigator in a C-51))and the Conservatory gardens in Balboa Park.  We also had the fantastic fish tacos at South Beach in Ocean Beach.  I must confess that husband, M & D succumbed to going there just to shut me up.  We've gone there each time we've come out here and the fish tacos are the best we've ever had.  Everyone enjoys South Beach, but admittedly, I'm like a dog with a bone...

We should all move out there and live on the beach. I would make a great beach bum.

We love it here too. Next time you are down, can we get together? South Beach? I live in Ocean Beach and don't know where that it. We will have to find it.

Hugs to you......have a good trip home.

It certainly sounds like you're having a great time! At least you have good reason to want to go to South Beach!

My college roommate was from La Jolla, her family loved it there. I hope you'll post some pics!

I'm with you. I always fantasize about living in San Diego. I love the place. My sis lives there. I don't like the fires and the threat of earthquakes, nor do I like the high price of real estate, but I do love it there despite all the drawbacks.

I'm glad you've had a wonderful time.

Glad you are having a good time in San Diego. Sorry it is almost over for you! I would NEVER want to live in CA --but would love to visit there on occasion.

Hugs,
Betsy

Too funny, *we were clothed* and I'm glad to hear that you are having such a great time. Safe travels back home. Once you get there and get into your gardening again you won't be *bugging* your husband to move for awhile. LOL

I won't ask how the cafe got it's name, but I'm glad you've had a wonderful time in San Diego. I'm hoping you will be coming back with many wonderful pictures to share with us.

Picturing you like a dog with a bone. Too funny. Glad you are so enjoying it. Now I've an itch to see it. But, as you say - that's not happening...well, at least any time soon. Enjoy, and safe journey home.

There was a time when I wouldn't have thought that "fish" had anything to do with "taco." Back then, I was an ignorant and unadventurous eater.
