♫♫C'mon People Now; Smile On Your Brother, Everybody Get Together♫♫

Well the computer issues are resolved (my mouth to God's ear).  Much of the problem were updates that were waiting in some clandestine line to happen.  Accessing, reading, and commenting on all of your blogs was being thwarted by Firefox.  The updates are accomplished and I have a new browser and new security installed.

I played hooky today from the gym and my boxing session.  What I did do was finish writing/stuffing/and mailing the invitations to my DIL's baby shower and made a vegetable run to Trader Joe's where I bought shrimp, a fennel bulb, butternut squash, and a bag of broccoli and cauliflower florets.  We had a very veggie dinner tonight in front of a roaring fire (purposeful) ☺.  Now it's only  8:15 and feels like it's midnight.  This early darkness makes me want to hibernate.

We attended a Halloween Parade on Monday at the little one's school.  So cute.  All of the kids 'marched' out of the school building into the courtyard where skads of parents/grandparents awaited.  The wee ones looked a bit overwhelmed but caught on quickly and were all so adorable.

Ariana shocked us by wearing the whole costume -- including the wig.

Here's another parade -- no candy, though.  Richard snapped this while he was doing an audit in DC.  Our Democracy in action.  Reminds me of the 60s.  Peace and far out!!

Hi Kathy, I'm glad to be back to blogging... Have been very sick--but finally feel better... Thanks be to God...

I use Firefox (and Safari) and have no trouble with either. What happened to yours?

Cute pictures of your granddaughter all dressed up for Halloween.
Hugs,
Betsy

Glad you are back! Ariana looks so darling. Bella dressed up as Belle one year, too. She would not have used a wig, although Maggie did as Jasmine once despite her sensory issues. With Bella's hair I was able to do it nice and she still talks about when I gave her "belle hair". Today she turns 12. My baby.

Happy that your PC issues are fixed and glad that you were able to attend the kids party/parade at school. Once we turn the clocks back I start counting down the days to Spring!

gosh, when I lived in Ohio we used to parade with the kids at my school. In NC, there is nothing of the kind...how times have changed...

I kind of like it getting dark early when it's cold out. I feel nice and cozy.
I will be glad to have it lighter in the morning!!

I've been OK with Firefox too. I wonder why yours went crazy. I'm glad you're doing well now though. That children's Halloween parade reminds me of our school. It was the most fun! I love the wig!

Pleased to hear you have got your computer problems sorted! Ariana looks absolutely gorgeous, and so cute!

We've got a few marches going on in the UK too! Life is beginning to get tougher all round here.

Cute Halloween pictures. Halloween was canceled in CT due to the power outages from the snow storm on OCT. 29! Just crazy!

Glad to have you back!!

I enjoy Trader Joe, too. We don't have one in the immediate area though. Have to travel a little to the closest one, so it is a treat when we go there.

How are u feeling?

So glad you got your computer up and running again. I've missed you. She's darling. And yes, the marchers do resemble those of us who marched around in the 60's. :) except, this time there are all ages.
