Butchart Gardens and Seattle ♫♫At Last....♫

Our second trip to Butchart Gardens in Victoria, was earlier in the year than our last visit.  There were no roses, yet, but still the gardens did not disappoint.

From this gorgeous fountain...

To the lupines...

Various spring flowers...

The dock at the gardens...

Azaleas and rhododendrons...

 Camelias...

The last stop and point of disembarkation on our cruise was Seattle where a real treat awaited Dick and I.

It began six years ago when I posted a vituperous blog on Rush Limbaugh in which I called him several names.  Brad's comment, "I think I love you" began a wonderful friendship.  But until the 27th of April, we had never met face-to-face.

Brad picked us up at the Seattle cruise ship terminal, we met his goats, toured his home, had coffee, met Lucca his adorable retriever pup, met Kari (another blogger friend), visited Pike Place Market, and had lunch.  It was wonderful.  I would sue over this photo, but my husband took it!  One can only do so much with PhotoShop!

I would love to see Seattle, too. I saw the Garden in March 1994. There was snow on the ground and not much to see.

Lovely photos and the mention of goats. What fun to meet an admirer? BTW, is it still possible to read your piece on Rush? Vituperation is fun, too.

Found it. The date didn't work, but typing Rush's name in the box next to "Share" brought it right up. I'm glad I went looking for it. I thought you made your point very well in just a few words.

Glad you got there again.. We like Biltmore in different seasons because different things are blooming.

Hugs,
Betsy
