Some Promises Are Just Itching To Be Broken

It's 99° Fahrenheit and for those of you in Celsius land, it's 37.222.  I had promised myself that after this winter I would not complain.  But after the hottest summer on record and I don't know how many days of temperatures above 95°, the gloves are off.  So are the shorts, the top, and the bra.  TMI?  Sorry.

You have a great sense of humor - much needed in this un-bare-able heat. Yes, I know how to spell unbearable, but I thought the other way was very appropriate.
My suggestion is to get into the pool. I have been cooling off nicely when soaking in it. I'm tired of always being in air-conditioning, even though I really don't mean to sound like I'm complaining. I'm grateful to have it, unlike so many others.
However, try the pool - it really helps to take the edge off. But don't forget to wear a bathing suit. :)

I don't think you're alone. We're on course to break the record for the number of days above 90 by the end of the week. Don't tell Betsy, but I don't think I'll complain about snow again!

I think I'm getting used to hot weather, because I really don't think it is so bad.

What happens inside you house stays inside your house, unless you are at a nudist colony.
We have been wishing for a bit more heat here in the Pacific Northwest, but not like that! We'll have to be careful what we wish for.

It's not TMI unless you post the pictures. And I'm not complaining too much about the heat, because I don't have to shovel it.

I am so very sorry. I too hate it too hot, and 99 is way beyond hot for me. Here we haven't had summer. :(

It is getting to be a bit too much, isn't it?

Just take it all off and wear a nice loose, flowy sundress and add a nice tall glass of iced tea, all will be fine!

Hahaha - was the celcius reading for me? We've not even seen 30, let alone 37.222! We bought pool passes for the summer and have yet to use them! As I type it is rainy and 16 degrees. Want to come visit?

We haven't had muchy summer round here, but I certainly wouldn't want it as hot as you! I think I'd be a small puddle by now!

You're so funny!!! Maybe after this morning's thunderstorm it will cool off a bit? That would be sweet.

It can never get too hot Kathy. Only too cold. Just keep taking the clothes off. It's liberating.
