All Is Well

Things are substantially better here than they were this morning.   Our daughter, Melissa, and my husband, Richard, have been business partners for 12 years in running CQI - an energy consulting business.  Our son and DIL and six others work for the business as well.  We're blessed with very talented people, a substantial client list, and a very successful business.  They work very hard to service clients and the biggest problem, I think, is that work time sometimes spills over to non-work time.  Richard and Melissa often work evenings and weekends -- but such is the need for making sure clients are taken care of -- even when there are family emergencies or 'urgencies'.

Both dogs were found  in a state park near Interstate 70!  Our daughter-in-law, who has been absolutely relentless, spotted Lily early this morning -- Lily ran from her but Jennie was able to eventually catch her.   Jennie found Boh eight hours later; he was up against a fence that borders I70.   Tonight we'll ALL be sleeping better.

WOW---so glad things have worked out --with your business and also with the dogs... Glad they are BOTH home. Bet someone will build whatever is needed to keep them in the yard... Dogs do dig out unfortunately.

Bet you all sleep well tonight.
Hugs,
Betsy

Reading this is a wonderful way to start the day. Glad the run-away-doggies are home and that the business is humming along as usual.

This is great news. I'm sure you all slept a little better. I imagine the dogs were terrified. Poor things. I hope they will now stay safely in their confines and not go looking for more freedom and adventure.

I am so glad to hear that the dogs were found. What an awful feeling to have them missing.

I think it is awesome to have a family business! How lucky you all are to have it become so successful!

Hope the rest of your weekend was uneventful!

Didn't know dogs were gone - posts have been disappearing like snow in summer here!

Don't know distances involved, but so very glad the dogs were found.
