The Checklist

1.    Alstromeria and dwarf Meyer lemon tree placed outside for the season.

2.    List made for weekend activities:  edge the flower beds, fill pots with soil and fertilizer, wash front windows and put in screens.

3.    Cardio and weight workout completed.  This also included schmoozing and some knee-slapping, raucous laughter with a number of older gym goers.  These gentlemen are a real hoot.  Fodder for another post.

4.    Yesterday I reached my tolerance level with our house that also serves as the office for our family business, and a hostel for our adult children and their pets.  I vacuumed the living room (aka baby's play room), dining room, kitchen, family room, and sun porch.  Then, I retrieved a bucket, filled it with hot, hot water, SpicNSpan, and Clorox and carried it out to the sun porch, not before I realized, however, that there was a huge hole in the bottom of the bucket!  So my kitchen floor was inadvertently washed as well.  I grabbed another bucket, transferred what was left to it and added more water and soap, and swabbed the tile in the sun porch -- in some places twice -- singing all the while "There's a hole in my bucket, dear Liza..."  I hate it when songs get stuck in my head -- especially when I don't even like the song!

5.   I slept well last night...

My kitchen and bathroom could use a good swabbing. Come on over anytime. I'll make fajitas. ;-)

Are you for hire?
The coffee is always hot, and the beer is always cold.

Time to add to the list.

6. In a week or two move the Alstromeria and dward Meyer lemon trees back into the house as the night will be too cold for them.

7. Pack up cleaning supplies and head on down to TAG's house to repeat the performance.

Let me see.. what else.... those are enough for now I guess.

If it will make the old man happy, he is welcome to join you on the trip south. :D

Happy Easter.

I had to laugh at the description of "Hostel". Sometimes I feel that way too! Isn't it magical to get back outside with the plants and birds and dirt again? It recharges my soul's battery!

I hope you have a beautiful day, friend!

Big Hugs....

My, you have been busy! And a sparkling house as well!

I hate it when songs get stuck in my head too, over and over, just a couple of lines! Drives me mad!

Have a Happy Easter/holiday

wow that's quite the list there. You sure keep busy. Now about that vacuuming...what kind of vacuum do you have? All mine keep breaking.

You have been busy! Did you finish your list over the weekend? I've been lazy the last few days - need to get busy myself. I think I have spring fever.....
