June er April is Busting Out All Over...

After one day of 92° and another warm day expected,  trees are leafing and blooming.   Take a look at our Kwanzon cherry!

All of my pots are planned for and I completed the shopping list of plants yesterday.  Anyone want to come with me?  I'll be doing the buying next week -- hopefully getting out before Big Guy sends my picture (captioned:  "Don't Sell to This Woman")  to the local nurseries, otherwise I'll be casting a wider net -- Delaware and Pennsylvania, here I come!  :)

This is what my car looked like last year...the front seat was filled, too.
 O Happy Day!!

That's a lot of flowers. I bet your car was smelling good though.

I know for sure that is ALOT of fun. It's the best kind of shopping I know of.

Looks like you're in for a lot of work fun. Will enjoy seeing everything once the job is complete.

It feels more like summer. Most people around here have their AC on. I'm just enjoying the warm weather.
Wow, that sure is a lot of plants!
Happy Planting!

You are a better gardener than I am, Kathy! At the moment my so-called winter pansies are just flowering. Poor little things were totally clobbered by all the snow and ice we had!

But I've been looking through the catalogues, and trying to imagine more summery plants. But I bet I fall back on good old impatiens and small-flowered begonias!!

My tulips are struggling up, though!

Can't wait to see all your pots once they are finished. I should plant some flowers in pots for my deck.
We are suppose to get storms tonight and are under a tornado watch until tomorrow night.

Oh, yes, we're done that. We do tend to plant fewer annuals now than we used to, and more perennials that don't have to be replaced. And tom now raises geraniums from cutting of last year's plants.
Have fun! We'll have towait until Mother's Day to plant out tender plants.

You and my sister would have a blast together as you share a passion for gardening. I think you need a bigger vehicle if you are going to cast your net even further this year! If I see your *picture* posted on nursery windows I will tear it down!
